Hello I'm back from Taiwan! Haha the trip was rather fun lah excluding all those long coach rides which made me feel dizzy and sleepy. Oh and abit we travelled the whole of Taiwan! Hahah.
291106. Flight to Taipei. When we arrived, we met our tour group & tour guide named Andrew. Then we went to Shilin Night Market to have our dinner and I realised that choudoufu isn't smelly at all ):
301106. We went to some place which looks like a temple? I forgot what it's called lah haha then we went to Keelung which serves as a natural habour with immense water! The waves are really huge and the scenery was super nice lah :D We proceeded to Jioufen after that and bought lots of stuff. After lunch we took a 3h train ride to Hualien. I sat with my sister and we did really stupid stuff cos we were really bored hahah. When we reached Hualien we had our dinner at this restaurant which served all the dishes really quickly. Abit the waiters just continued squeezing all the plates (big ones eh) on the table when there's no space? After dinner we visited the Ami Aboriginal Cultural Village and it was quite interesting lah :D
011206. Visited Taroko Gorge and the scenery was nice :D I saw rapids! Then we went to Kung-Lung Marble Factory which tried to promote their jade etc. The maoyan thing looked rather cool hahah. After lunch we took a 7h coach ride to Kaohsiung. It was damn tiring lah and I think I was sleeping throughout the whole journey. At Kaohsiung, we went to some night market place and I saw this stall named Uncle Tea! Haha -looks at Eunice.
021206. We went to the Spring and Autumn Pavillions where there are gigantic statues of Dragon & Tiger Pagodas and Hsuan Tien Shangti Temple. We had to walk through the dragon's mouth and then out of the tiger's mouth cos it meant something good. While waiting for the coach to fetch us to our next destination, my cute little cousin Wei Sing was so entranced with this super huge bear and smelling it hahahah :D Had lunch at this high class restaurant and then went to Janfusan Theme Park. I played really mild stuff with my sister and cousins cos I was having a sore throat and couldnt scream ): The only station I screamed at was viking cos it went really high up hahah :D Sat the coach to Taizhong and ate our dinner at this cool place where the cutlery are made of clay- thinks of the work I made during Art lesson last year heh. Went to some night market after that and saw something which is realy really suitable for Eunice.
031206. We went to Danshui and it was really cold! My mother bought a scarf for me which kept dropping haha :D Ate a small bowl of fishball soup for lunch. Then we went to this very windy place where there's this big white bridge, and then Miramar shopping centre where there is this gigantic ferris wheel. The bookshop there is damn nice too. After that we went to Princess House which sells Royal honey and it's like super expensive? so we didn't buy anything haha. While waiting for some of our tour group members who are buying the honey/lingzhi etc, we did really random stuff outside the shop and I learnt the correct way to carry a toddler though I wasn;t exactly successful at doing it haha. Abit Wei Sing made me carry him for dont know how many times hahaha and he tried to carry me, my sis and Jen Nee. After dinner we went back to the hotel early so that there will be time for us to use the SPA facility there but I didn't go haha so we kind of explored the hotel and I saw something which I saw in Czech! (:
041206. After breakfast we went back to Taipei went to Taipei 101 building and some of the shops are closed cos it was really early. But the shopping centre looks very nice so we ended up taking loads of random photos. When the Page One bookshop finally opened we went inside and I saw the Joy Luck Club book ! Haha. Our next destination was Shilin Residence where Chiang Kai-Shek used to live. The fountain there was nice nice nice :D Then we went to Tianlu Art Centre and heard a lot about fengshui. Haha. After that we proceeded to this pearl showroom and instead of buying pearls we looked at fishes in the tanks :D Went to Ximenting to shop after that! I saw something which I think Xinyi will like and bought clothes (: After shopping for like 2hours we had steamboat dinner. Abit I took like one whole plate of fish/meat/sotong balls? Heh.
051206. Woke up at 4am to catch our flight to Singapore, yes, 4am in the morning! Our tour guide gave us each a packet of breakfast and I only ate the bread haha. On the flight back to Singapore, I watched One litre of Tears and it was really sad ): Ahh.
