we looked forward to that day with so much enthusiasm.
we worked so hard just to make sure our efforts will pay off.
we wanted to shine, to show them our best.
but,

they cheated our feelings
they shattered the common 'dream' all of us had.
they ruined everything just like that.

anyway, jubilate yesterday didnt turn out to be as good as we thought. it was disappointing. nevertheless, thanks to those who shouted encore, and sorry that we couldnt perform that song, which im sure everyone would enjoy.

on a brighter note, i think we did our best & performed well for the two songs (: oh and thank you my dear suchin, jingo & eri for coming & giving us flowers ! :D

sn choir ; DOUBLE GOLDS !

the choir trip to Czech Republic totally rocked. we got GOLD for both under sixteen & sacred categories, both 94 points ! isnt that wonderful ! our efforts paid off ! oh my i love sn choir so so so much ! thanks to everyone who made this trip such a meaningful one - the whole of sn choir, ms lim, teachers, tourguides, esp xueting, lingjing, alyssa, yingqi, rachelong, louisa, yiying & abigail !

i love all the altos (okay not all) night gatherings eating cup noodles & playing card games such as bridge, daidee & fortune telling. thanks to lingjing & alyssa for supplying most of us with cup noodles ! haha i remember lingjing & i carrying 8 cups of noodles to xueting's and my room. oh & five people squeezing into two beds is actually quite fun ! i love staying up late at night talking with DU GUI family which consists of me, xue, alyssa & lingjing. i didnt know we could talk so much until the night when alyssa & lingjing slept over! i love all the choir practices we had on the 10th floor of hotel flora. i love shopping with my friends. ah i just love practically everything in this trip ! :D oh and i love my angel & mortal too ! :D

i guess the choir really bonded alot during the trip. i got closer to many people & got to know people who i didnt talk to. i think we should have more of these kind of trips hahah.

XUETING my roommate! bunking with you has been really great ! i enjoyed talking to you till late at night with the other members of the dugui family ! :D thanks for everything ! loves !

LINGJING du mu ! i didnt know you could talk so much, and so sensibly ! hahaha, actually i learnt alot of stuff from you (: talking to you until late at night was fun ! and yes i miss playing bridge too ! loves !

ALYSSA the bear ! haha why you dont want to wear your czech jacket? anyway walking with you while we toured prague was fun ! :D so was the dugui family talk at night! loves !

YINGQI yingqi ! i enjoyed talking to you about the primary school stuff during our last night in czech ! and sitting with you on the plane was really entertaining cos you are so comical ! esp at the dinner part HAHA. loves !

RACHEL ong ! i heard you speak lots of chinese during the trip ! hahah thanks for making us laugh with your funny actions (: loves !

LOUISA ludan ! haha the flight back to singapore was fun with you around ! too bad you missed dinner though. and kailay is supposed to be yingqi's line ! haha loves !

YIYING one shadow ! i love all the nights we spent talking & playing cards! you are damn pro at bridge lah (: & we dont like carbonated water ! haha. loves !

ABIGAIL abby ! thanks for entertaining me with all the media stuff when im bored ! i realised that i didnt know so many stuff about it until you told me ! and sprite rocks doesnt it ! :D loves !

last week was such a hectic week. i was out for twelve hours almost every single day even though it's the holidays hahah. i had mep tests, english lessons & choir on monday, biology workshop & choir on tuesday, biology workshops on wednesday, mep camp on thursday, mep camp & choir on friday. WOW.

the mep tests were killers, the western music section especially. omg ): bio workshops were alright i guess though it made me develop a phobia for going to the science centre by mrt. hahah - looks at eunice. toured the science centre with xinyun, jingo and eunice on tues/wed & we produced our first GAMELAN & NOH track for les six s'pore album ! haha :D too bad xueting and sherm werent there ): anyway i like the drum calls ! :D

mep camp was fun :D day one was boring though, mostly because everyone didnt know each other. jingo johsi and i felt really anti social lah haha. however, day two was much better cos everyone started talking more BUT just when things are getting more exciting I HAD TO LEAVE before the performance )))): BOO ): the performance sounded so so so fun in other people's blogs !

anyway group five (my grp) won the best performance overall & second for icebreakers ! :D we sang 'we'd like to thank you herbert hoover ' which was really funny hahah. too bad i wasnt there to witness the prize presentation which i heard from jingo that there were unanimous votes for our group ! i think group five rocks :D (though i still dont know some people)

omg, I CANT WAIT FOR CZECH (sn choir trip '06) ! im looking forward to waking people up early in the morning though im not sure whether i myself am able to get up or not haha. eunice, you better come send me off at the airport if not i wont buy any souvenirs for you ! haha. anyway i hope the trip will be a blast ! & SN CHOIR, JIAYOU ! :D we just have to improve on our concentration & determination which i know we can !
