ah last week was such an interesting week
with so many stuff happening
shall recap them here

wednesday
mep indian workshop
was rather boring at the start
we were taught about ragas & other stuff and got really confused
then we learnt some maths too? such as 36+36=72 ?
huh i dont know why they told us that - shrugs
eunice somehow skipped lunch cos mr wong actually called her name correctly and told her to usher some sitar player to the mep room
eunice probably was too happy to have lunch after that haha
in the later part of the workshop some tabla person came in
and xinyun got so excited over him
then the group of indian instru players played some funny song for us
and after that we got to try the insruments
was rather fun i guess ?
hahah then went home with eunice & xue
it started to pour on our journey home
got down the bus really wet cos it somehow stopped at the very end of the bus stop instead of at the bus stop
oh and the thunder was really scary :/

thursday
had choir in the morning
was bad & we made ms lim really disappointed :/
we were dismissed early & eunice and i went to amk to meet suchin
walked from one end of the platform to the other cos suchin said she was at the last carriage and we went to the front of the platfrom
and eunice generously helped me carry my guitar again while walking haha
went to paragon cos im having guitar exam there
since we were very early went to delifrance to have lunch first
and eunice treated us to it cos she has some fifteen dollar voucher and she ended up paying one dollar only cos the total amt is 16 hahah
xueting came along with her mom soon
around 2 went back to the music school
and both xue and i became really freaked out as the exam time drew nearer
when xue went in i was like pacing up and down the room clutching my guitar
dont know why but i just didnt felt like sitting down
ahh anyway the exam was okay i guess ?
but i made some stupid mistakes for my pieces & scales
SR and aural were alright (:

after exam walked around in gramaphone and toys r us
then went to xue's house and we started playing some nice music
at around 4 plus went to shaw plaza to watch harry potter and the goblet of fire ! :D
the show was really nice though they actually cut out so many parts
and robert pattinson who acted as cedric was damn CUTE - looks at xue
but somehow eunice is still crazy over her dandan haha
suchin remained silent about these [she's prebably thinking of her alan]
hahah

after watching xue's mom treated us to dinner
xue help me thank your mom !
food was really nice, esp the chicken :D

saturday
went to watch campus superstar auditions at J8 with xueting !
and we saw junyang ! plus kelly and the other project superstar contestants (:
almost everyone near me was like taking pics of jy instead of listening to the auditions
stupid me forgot to bring my cam so i didnt take any pics :/
and we didnt get his autograph too :/
but at least we managed to see junyang close up !
btw some of the contestants were good but the judges were quite strict ?
i dont know.

went to popular in the evening
and i finally bought harry potter & the half blood prince ! :D
uh i know it's abit late lah but i have been waiting for the price to go down till $7.50 [ because i saw the hardcover harrypotter & ofp selling at $7.50 at borders once and got so pissed cos i bought it at 30 plus ]
but then i couldnt resist anymore so bought it though it's 30 plus
hahah i know im weird

sunday
went out for the whole day
lunched some cheena restaurant haha
food was good though not filling
shopped at OG and i bought a new pencil case ! :D
and my sis got so elated when she finally found a skirt she likes haha
then had dinner at this kasoh restaurant, whatever you call it
saw chenjianbing there ! and this time it's the real chenjianbing
hahah

guitar lesson in the morning today
nothing much besides the plucking of strings and xueting laughing her head off when she told me her friend once called her ah xue - looks weirdly at xue
during lunch poor xue who wanted to go on diet couldnt resist the temptation when she saw me eating a bowl of delicious noodles
hahah :D

choir seemed to pass very quickly today
probably because it's only 2 hours ?
after choir went home with eunice
she generously offered to carry my guitar and refused to return it to me when i wanted it back
cos she wants to look more like a musician
but im afraid it wasnt really successful -looks at eunice
and this left me empty-handed all the way till we boarded the bus
when she finally returned it to me
due to the weight of the guitar haha

guitar exam on thurs -screams
i think im going to make a fool out of myself ?
my fingers will probably tremble until i cant press down the strings properly
ahh im dreading it
but still, there's sth to look forward to after the exam
cos im watching harrypotter with suchin xue and eunice !
i cant wait !! :D

how fun it is going to be eh?
i'll will probably doze off the minute i hear the first note sounded by the sitar
well, that's not surprising at all considering the fact the i always do that when i hear the sitar

just returned from hongkong/shenzhen last night
went with my family & my dad's friend's family
and im already missing these two countries
esp shenzhen (:

DAY ONE
woke up at 3 early in the morning and went to the airport
was damn tired can
reached hongkong at around 10 plus
we were brought to some ladies market place
bought nice nice things there ! :D
then at around 5pm some short tour guide named kevin brought us for dinner
ate at this seafood restaurant and we couldnt finish the food
there were like so much food on one plate lah
and the dinner was a ten course meal some more
hahah
after that went to this mountain called 太平山 [victoria peak]
the place was super cold but the scenery was rather nice (:
then took a ferry to our hotel :D

DAY TWO
woke up feeling really fatigue
after breakfast went to some temple and the Giant Buddha place
and our tour guide for that day was this woman called carroll
okay the Giant Buddha was really huge
had a hard time taking a picture of it haha
lunched at some vegetarian restaurant
soon we were brought to some jewellery shop & the chinese ginseng shop
didnt really buy much there, except for some sweets haha
then went to the Avenue of Stars
saw lots of handprints of hongkong's artists there
though i didnt recognise many names heh
in the evening took a train to shenzhen ! :D
long journey, almost slept standing on the train haha
our tour guide at shenzhen was this guy called 小赵 xiaozhao
but that's not his real name lah except for that 赵 word
okay he is rather funny haha
brought us to some restaurant and i didnt eat much since i was on the verge of dozing off
found out that the roads of shenzhen are really complicated heh
finally checked in at sunon hotel
i was so relieved then cos i could finally sleep (:

DAY THREE
ah this is the best day i had during the whole tour :D
after having breakfast went to this shop which sells valuables
we got someone to write a poem using the names of my family
haha very nice :D
then went to some medical shop
dont know what lah they kept talking about herbs and stuff
lunch was nice esp the soup (:
ate roasted goose, chicken etc and left the heads of the goose, chicken & duck i think for the tour guide cos he told us that the tastiest part of the roasted goose is actually the head
haha very funny :D
went to window of the world where there are many 'copied' monuments & buildings of countries all over the world
sat on this cute little tram thing which brought us arnd the place
was damn fun lah and i thought i was in egypt at one particular time haha
soon went to splendid china
saw fake terracottas, the great wall of china etc there
then watched some show which displays the different traditional costumes of china
um the show wasnt that appealing to me though
had dinner after the show
there were many dishes too so couldnt finish again
after dinner watched another performance
this time it was very interesting with all those lightings, fires, sheeps & horses
hahah :D
went back to the hotel at night and went shopping at the streets nearby
saw loads of nice & cheap clothes !
but didnt buy cos my dad's friend's family wanted to go back
oh wells :/

DAY FOUR
had breakfast before saying byebye to shenzhen and returning to hk
left shenzhen by train :/
reached hongkong at arnd 10 & went to disneyland
stayed there for the entire day
there were very little thrilling rides, think there's one only ?
oh wells so sad
but the 3D show was really entertaining :D
arnd 3 saw the disney parade
had a hard time taking pictures cos so many ppl in front of me were holding umbrelllas due to the scorching sun
in the evening we watched the fireworks thing
very nice though it conributed alot to air pollution - shakes head
haha

DAY FIVE
last day of our tour :/
this day was free at leisure
had breakfast at some weird restaurant where my dad spilled a cup of tea & my sis had stomachache after eating
then took the mtr to causeway bay & shopped at times square
the things were expensive :/
i was kind of bored lah
soon had lunch at another restaurant which seemed much better than the one we had our lunch at
ate roasted goose again but this time it tasted better
too bad our shenzhen tour guide wasnt there so we could offer him the head of the goose hahah
after lunch went back to the hotel & slacked
around 3 kevin the short tour guide brought us to the airport [um he alighted halfway]
we thought he looked like chenjianbing [s'pore artist] and my dad's friend's son shouted 'chenjianbing!' but he didnt reply
hahah then we laughed like dont know what
reached the airport 2h later and returned to singapore at like 12
wah and i was super tired lah haha

oh wells i miss shenzhen so much !
